Guidelines

AIO Newswire's Editorial Policy

This is AIO Newswire's endeavor to maintain the press releases' integrity, credibility, and professionalism when carried out from this platform. These sets of editorial guidelines are set forth to outline the various standards that every submission must meet for publication and distribution.

Purpose of Press Releases

All press releases submitted to AIO Newswire must be newsworthy, factual, and informative. The press releases should discuss such topics as a company launch, product release, partnership or acquisition, appointment of an executive, announcement of an event, awards and recognition, and findings of interest or research. Press releases are not to be construed as advertisements or sales promotions; hence, all content should adhere to the journalistic perspective and should not in any way service promotional language.

Format and Structure Requirements

All press releases must follow the generally accepted standard for professional news releases, thus allowing for acceptance into mainstream media. This includes a headline concise enough to summarize the announcement with an optional subheadline to pad the argument, followed by a dateline stating city, state, and date. The body of the release must consist of solidly written paragraphs that adequately express the message. A boilerplate statement (or "About" section) about the organization is mandatory, stating the details for media inquiries.

Content guidelines

Before Publication Content needs to be completely original, not copied from anywhere. A good press release will be between 300 and 800 words and written in a clear, very simple style. Steer clear of heavy jargon and especially technical terms, unless absolutely unavoidable. All information should be entirely error-free, with a neutral tone, being written in third person. Sufficient grammar and spelling should be observed as errors in that aspect would be disallowed in submissions. No more than three external links must be included, and they should be related and non-commercial. A quote from at least one representative of the company or a person pertinent to the news is strongly recommended to boost the credibility of the news piece.

Multimedia and Attachments

You are welcome to submit audio/video photographs relating directly to the article, include high-quality multimedia disciplines with your submission such as company logos (JPG or PNG), relevant images or product photos, video links (YouTube or Vimeo), or PDF attachments like reports or supporting documents. All medium should relate directly to the contents of the release.

Review and Approval

Every press release submitted goes through our editorial team on a thorough review for compliance to our guidelines. A submission that doesn't conform to our requirements will often be subject to request for revision or clarification. Review and approval will take place within 24 to 48 business hours for press releases that meet the requested criteria.

Rights of Distribution

Submitting to AIO Newswire grants you the non-exclusive right to distribute, publish or house on our website and partner platforms, and make minor grammatical or formatting changes if necessary. You own your content, and we will never change the message of your release.
